자이랜드는 엔젤 투자 유치를 통해서 부동산 가치평가 업계의 리더로 한걸음 더 도약할 것입니다

자이랜드는 헤지펀드, 아트, 부동산, 핀테크 투자 경력 20년의 뉴욕 소재의 글로벌 대체투자 전문가와 국내 굴지의 부동산 업체에서 수십년간 종사한 부동산 전문가로부터 엔젤 투자를 유치했다고 2022년 11월 7일 밝혔습니다. 

이 자금은 자이랜드가 빠르고 일관적이며 안정적인 데이터베이스 업데이트를 제공할 수 있도록 데이터 파이프라인*을 개발하는 데 사용됩니다. 한국의 부동산 시장이 얼마나 빨리 움직이는지를 고려할 때, 자동평가모델(AVM)에 빠르고 일관적이며 신뢰할 수 있는 데이터베이스 업데이트를 제공할 수 있습니다. 일반적으로 다른 서비스들은 한국국토교통부가 기록한 새로운 거래에 따라 그들의 데이터베이스를 한 달에 한 번만 업데이트합니다.

자이랜드는 2022년 3월 마지막 펀딩 이후 P2P 업체(위펀딩, 헬로펀딩)와 함께 자체 AVM 생성 평가의 정확성을 성공적으로 테스트하고 각각의 피드백을 기반으로 프론트엔드 UI를 업데이트했으며, 업데이트된 프론트엔드 UI를 기반으로 위펀딩과 첫 번째 데이터 판매 계약을 체결했습니다. 현재 자이랜드에는 국내의 한 은행이 제공하는 가장 인기있는 가치평가 서비스가 아파트 가치를 과대평가하는 경향이 있음으로 인하여, 자이랜드의 “가치평가보고서” 제품으로 전환하고자 하는 감정평가사들, 투자자들, 그리고 P2P 업체들로부터 문의가 쇄도하고 있습니다.

XAI Land attracts angel investments to fuel sales efforts

XAI Land announced on November 7, 2022 that it has attracted investments from a New York-based angel investor who is a cross-border alternative investment professional with 20 years’ experience in hedge funds, art, real estate, and technology start-ups as well as a Seoul-based senior real estate professional with over 20 years of real estate experience. 

This funding will be used to develop a data pipeline* so XAI Land can provide fast, consistent, and reliable database updates to its Automated Valuation Model (AVM) service given how quickly South Korea’s real estate market moves; other services typically only update their databases once per month with new transactions recorded from South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT). 

In addition, part of these funds will allow the company to become the only AI+ certified AVM company in South Korea by the Korean Standards Association. Lastly, a portion of these funds will be dedicated to allowing XAI Land the means to conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) tests with more than half a dozen domestic and overseas public and private sector clients who have requested to use the company’s updated “Value Report” real estate valuation product that values and provides 1-year forecasts for South Korea’s apartments, villas, and officetels. 

Since the company’s last funding in March 2022, XAI Land successfully tested the accuracy of its proprietary AVM-generated valuations with P2P companies (WeFunding and HelloFunding), updated its front-end UI based on their respective feedback, and signed its first data sales contract with WeFunding based on an updated front-end UI. Currently, XAI Land is receiving inquiries from overseas appraisal companies and investors who wish to value South Korean real estate; in addition, the company has a solid line-up of P2P companies who are ready to use its “Value Report” product and make the switch from one of the market leading valuation solutions operated by a local South Korean bank given its tendency to overvalue apartments.

* A data pipeline is a set of data processing elements connected in a series that automates the extraction, transformation, and optimization of raw data coming from several data sources.
