Pietro Doran joins XAI Land as Real Estate Advisor

XAI Land announced on February 20, 2023 that Pietro Doran has joined the firm as a Real Estate Advisor where he will expand XAI Land’s existing client base of domestic Korean institutions to overseas real estate companies who are actively investing in South Korea’s real estate markets. Pietro’s work will enable XAI Land to more quickly identify key players in the global real estate market and help them invest in South Korea with ease given its proprietary database of valuations/predictions, data/analytics, and consulting capabilities.

Pietro Doran has over 30 years of real estate industry experience in South Korea and other parts of Asia. Mr. Doran is recognized for his work in founding Brooke Hillier Parker, South Korea’s first international property services company in 1991 and advancing modern standards in real estate appraisal and property valuation methodology in the country. He also is known for establishing South Korea’s first 100% foreign owned real estate firm, John Buck Company, which was later acquired by Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund (“MSREF”) where he served as President & CEO. Most recently, he is most recognized for serving as a founding partner, Managing Director and Senior Investment Officer for Gale International’s New Songdo City where he structured $1.85 billion in financing, secured all preliminary approvals and managed the 100% presale of 2,000 apartment and office condominiums in New Songdo City.
